Energy-Wise for Schools

Energy-Wise is a new educational project from Groundwork Sheffield, developed to engage primary school pupils from across the city with the issue of energy waste.
The project delivers sessions on energy saving in school and the home and  shows how by doing our bit, everyone can have a real impact on climate change. It not only educates and informs about climate change and the detrimental effect it has on the planet, it also offer practical solutions that young people can understand and implement in their daily lives.
By complimenting the national curriculum, Energy-Wise will also help young people develops the knowledge, principles and skills needed to address energy waste issues and equips them with the information they need to do their own environmental audit as a whole-school project.
